Our Leadership Team
Behind every successful business is a group of dedicated leaders. Tru Realty Executives and Division Leaders each bring a diversified skill set to our brokerage. As a result, we have assembled a dynamic and well-rounded support team. From strategists to educators, they uphold Tru Realty’s values to better serve our clients, our agents, and our community.
In 2010, Sarah launched Tru Realty to better serve a marketplace that was seeing a shift from auction-centric fix/flips to an MLS flow. With an inspired vision to be a leader in residential real estate, Sarah built a strong and dedicated team who closed an astonishing 450+ deals in the brokerage’s first 6 years of operation. What’s more, nearly every deal was profitable, yielding double-digit returns.
Since Tru Realty’s inception, Sarah has performed a variety of tasks, including but not limited to, recruiting, marketing, training, tech implementation, and more. In 2018, Sarah was the first realtor in the U.S. to execute an investor cash transaction on the Blockchain (using the Ethereum protocol) in partnership with Propy, one of the brokerage’s key tech partners.
Prior to founding Tru Realty, Sarah worked for Retail Brokers Inc., a Commercial Real Estate brokerage located in Scottsdale, Arizona. During her 6-year stint with the company, she was responsible for landlord and tenant representation of triple net lease shopping centers. Some of her biggest clients during that time included the Israeli Public Affairs Committee, Dunkin Donuts, and Subway.
Over the years, Sarah and Tru Realty have garnered numerous awards, including the 2021 Inc. 5000 List, 100 Fastest Growing Companies in Arizona (Growjo 2020), Top 30 Most Successful Female Business Owners in Arizona (Phoenix Business Journal 2020), Top 20 Residential Brokers in the State of Arizona last 6 years in a row (Phoenix Business Journal), Top Designated Broker of the Year (2019 from Arizona School of Business and Real Estate), Honor Role for compliance and audits (Arizona Department of Real Estate 2018), Entrepreneur of the Year (Women’s National Association of Realtors 2017), and Fastest Growing Brokerage of the Year (Chime Technologies 2016).
Sarah is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Women’s Council of Realtors, an Inman Contributing Author, and is also spearheading Tru Gives; Tru Realty’s charity that grants scholarships to preschool students in the Phoenix, AZ area.
Born and raised in Waukesha, Wisconsin, Sarah moved to Arizona in 1996 where she attended Arizona State University (ASU) and studied Business Communications. In 2003, she shifted from her corporate path into real estate and became a member of the National Association of Realtors.
In her spare time, Sarah can be seen playing golf, spending time with family, hiking, working out, and listening to live EDM music!
Stu Morse is a 17 year veteran of the residential real estate business and is licensed in both California and Arizona. He is from Santa Barbara where he was a top producer and served as its Association Vice President.
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Stu gained blue chip marketing and sales experience in several Fortune 500 companies. Born and raised in New Jersey and having lived in (and owned property in) New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, California, and Scottsdale, Stu offers his clients truly unbeatable relocation insight.
As an attorney-trained Associate Broker, his tough but fair negotiation skills are his clients’ secret to success. His clients describe him as the consummate professional who is fun to work with. With his experience and maturity, he diffuses stress, eases anxiety, and helps simplify what is often a complex process. Stu is driven to get you the most as a seller and to get you the best value as a buyer and he ALWAYS has his clients’ best interests in mind.
A father of two…Stu’s been an alpine ski nut since grade school, is a local semi-professional musician, is a totally unprofessional cook, and has recently been seen avoiding tickets in his red Corvette.
Barry Nicholas relocated to Scottsdale from Overland Park, Kansas, where he practiced in corporate REO asset management for 13 years. He currently has active broker’s licenses in Arizona, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma and is a graduate of the Realtor Institute and holds the Certified Residential Specialist Designation.
Barry’s first exposure to the real estate profession came at an early age through his family’s real estate brokerage firm, Nicholas Real Estate. NRE is one of the longest, continuously run real estate brokerages in Oklahoma. Later, while obtaining a degree in advertising at Oklahoma State University, Barry received his real estate license at the age of 21 and began selling real estate full time by the time he was 24. He now has over 30 years of experience producing successful outcomes for both buyers and sellers.
Barry provides his clients with the expertise and acumen that addresses the changing trends in home sales, property marketing, and real estate technology. Barry views customer service as his utmost priority. This affords him a strong sales performance that abides by the highest professional and ethical standards. Barry has a passion for helping people and animals. He also believes in the power of laughter. He enjoys landscape and architectural design. He loves to travel and explore. He is also an avid gardener.
